A Thriving Showcase at IMARC 2024
In October this year, we had the privilege of exhibiting at IMARC 2024 – Digicore reflects on the week held at the ICC in Sydney. It’s always exciting to return to this event, and this year was no exception.
With our stand brimming with the latest innovations, we proudly showcased Digicore’s cutting-edge IVMS solutions, including the latest iterations of the NOMAD—our 100% portable IVMS kit.

Refining the NOMAD: Practical Enhancements for Real-World Use
This year, the NOMAD caught the attention of many in the mining and infrastructure sectors due to its unique design and effortless usability.
We’ve refined the NOMAD since its first prototype launch in October last year, adding new features like a custom-designed Pelican case, magnetic front mounts for easy installation, and extended cables reaching up to 4 metres—perfect for those larger vehicles.
These enhancements were made in collaboration with industry leaders like the BHP Exploration team and embody our commitment to creating practical, user-focused solutions.

Among the visitors to our stand, one of the most exciting moments was speaking with the Global Design Lead from a major IMARC sponsor, who was impressed by the NOMAD’s design and functionality.
It’s always encouraging to see industry leaders acknowledging the innovation behind our products.

Spotlight on Asset Tracking Solutions
Beyond the NOMAD, our asset trackers also drew considerable interest. Many attendees shared their challenges in keeping track of scattered assets such as generators, lighting towers, solar kits, and water carts across Australia’s vast landscapes.
The conversations reinforced the importance of reliable, efficient tracking systems in solving real-world problems faced by our clients.

Industry Trends: Sustainability and Automation
The buzzwords at IMARC this year were undoubtedly ‘sustainability’ and ‘automation’, themes that align closely with the ongoing evolution in our industry.
One of our most exciting discussions revolved around integrating Direct to satellite connectivity via new SIM cards (coming in 2026) to enhance our IVMS solutions—an upgrade that could take our offerings to even more remote and challenging environments.

Engaging with Industry Leaders
Throughout the week, our team—Dan Bayley (Managing Director), Gagan Singh (Operations Manager pictured above), Mario Beretic (Lead Customer Support & Innovation), and myself, Kyri Christodoulou (General Manager)—engaged with an incredible range of people and businesses.
The conversations were as diverse as they were insightful. It’s these connections that keep us inspired and push us to innovate further. IMARC 2024 – Digicore Reflects
