We’re pleased to announce the rollout of our latest firmware update for all Digicore AI cameras. This automatic update delivers significant improvements in reliability, event accuracy, and system performance—particularly focused on reducing false positives and error messages across your fleet.
As always, this update will be applied automatically the next time your camera powers off and on. No action is required from your side.
What’s New in This Update (Versions 1.19.2 – 1.19.10)
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
- Reduced False Positives – Fixes across multiple safety features like Lane Drift, Tail-Gating, and Forward Collision Warnings to prevent continuous or incorrect alerts.
- Event Video Reliability – Resolved cases where certain event videos weren’t uploaded, improving data integrity for incident reporting.
- Live Telematics Events – Fixed ignition-on and ignition-off events not being sent, ensuring accurate real-time data.
- Improved Trip Handling – Addressed delays in trip start/stop and ensured ignition IDs map correctly for better trip summaries.
- Better Network Handling – Optimised file uploads in poor coverage areas to reduce missed media or failed attempts.
Enhanced Media Capture
- Speed sign violation images are now more reliably captured.
- Violation recordings (including drowsiness, lizard eye, and smoking) now include the correct media with improved accuracy.
Location & Driver Info
- First trip location now updates correctly and promptly.
- All health events now include the driver ID, improving reporting and compliance tracking.
- Fixed rare issues with 0-latitude/longitude appearing in live location data.
Audio & Storage Fixes
- Corrected the “NEW_DRIVER_ID” voice announcement bug.
- DVR handling improved on Jimi devices with regular write syncs and better loop deletion logic to maintain recording continuity.
