The DART3 BLE is a high-performance wired GPS tracking device with an integrated Bluetooth 5.2 gateway, purpose-built for real-time fleet management, driver safety and asset recovery. Connecting directly to vehicle power (8–33 V DC), it delivers continuous location updates over LTE-M (Cat-M1) and NB-IoT networks with ~2 m positioning accuracy. More Than a GPS Tracker
Where the DART3 BLE separates itself from standard wired trackers is its built-in Bluetooth gateway. Every vehicle fitted with a DART3 BLE becomes a roaming BLE scanner — automatically detecting and reporting nearby Bluetooth tags and sensors without additional hardware. Pair it with DM Dot Tags, Dot Glows or Dot Sensors from the Digicore accessories range to extend asset visibility from vehicles to tools, trailers, containers and temperature-sensitive cargo.
Real-Time Tracking & Asset Recovery
The device stays continuously connected while the vehicle is moving, streaming position, speed and heading data to your tracking platform. If a vehicle is stolen or goes off-grid, switch to Recovery Mode for real-time tracking to assist retrieval. An internal 300 mAh LiPo backup battery keeps the unit reporting even if main power is cut, with instant tamper alerts the moment disconnection is detected.
Driver Safety & Accountability
Monitor speeding, harsh acceleration, braking, cornering and idle times to build a complete driver behaviour profile. Accident and rollover detection triggers automatic alerts with up to 2 hours of second-by-second black-box data for incident reconstruction. Multiple Driver ID options — Bluetooth, RFID, iButton or Wiegand — let you log who’s behind the wheel for compliance, access control and shift tracking.
Remote Immobilisation & Vehicle Control
A switched-ground digital output (2 A max) can drive a relay for remote vehicle immobilisation in theft, abuse or unauthorised-use scenarios. Additional digital inputs support seatbelt detection, duress buttons, warning buzzers and lights for in-cab alerting.

The DART3 BLE’s wiring harness exposes a rich set of interfaces — 1 ignition input, 3 configurable digital inputs (0–48 V), 1 analog input (0–40 V), 1 digital output, switched power out and serial/Wiegand/1-Wire connections. This makes it adaptable for everything from basic fleet tracking through to complex compliance and safety installations.
High-Precision GNSS with Anti-Jamming
A u-blox M10 module tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou constellations simultaneously. GNSS almanac/ephemeris assistance accelerates cold starts, and a SAW filter plus low-noise amplifier (LNA) boosts signal reception in environments where competing devices lose lock — urban canyons, under canopies and inside steel-framed structures.
Enterprise-Grade Security & Remote Management
AES-256 encryption secures all data from device to cloud. Configure, monitor, debug, update firmware and restart devices remotely through a cloud-based device management platform. Onboard flash memory stores records when out of cellular coverage, uploading them automatically when connectivity returns. Geofences can be loaded directly onto the device for location-based alerts and actions without server dependency.

Operating from –30 °C to +60 °C with a power supply tested against automotive load-dump surges, the DART3 BLE handles the electrical and thermal extremes of Australian mining fleets, construction vehicles, logistics operations and long-haul transport. A self-resetting fuse simplifies installation and protects against wiring faults.
